1 pound frozen chicken nuggets

2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

2 tablespoons melted butter (optional, for topping)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Prepare Baking Dish: Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or a little oil.

      Cook Rice: If you haven't already, prepare the rice according to package instructions and set aside.

        Mix Base Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until well blended.

          Add Veggies and Nuggets: Gently fold in the frozen mixed vegetables and half of the shredded cheddar cheese into the rice mixture.

            Layer the Casserole: Pour the rice and vegetable mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly. Arrange the frozen chicken nuggets on top in a single layer.

              Add Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese evenly over the chicken nuggets. If you like a crunchy topping, you can mix breadcrumbs with the melted butter and sprinkle this mixture on top as well.
