Ingredients

4 large flour tortillas

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1 cup chopped mixed nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds)

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

1 cup whipped cream (for topping)

2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (for drizzling)

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Caramel Sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sugar, stirring constantly until it dissolves completely. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it bubble for 2-3 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat, then add vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir well and set aside to cool slightly.

Sauté the Bananas: In a pan over medium heat, add sliced bananas and half of the caramel sauce (reserve the other half for later). Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the bananas are slightly caramelized and tender. Remove from heat.

Toast the Nuts: In a small skillet over medium heat, add the mixed nuts. Toast them for about 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently until they are golden and fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.

Assemble the Tacos: Warm the flour tortillas on a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds until pliable. Place a spoonful of the caramelized banana mixture in the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle with toasted mixed nuts.

Fold the Tacos: Carefully fold the tortillas over the filling to form a taco shape. If desired, you can secure them with a toothpick.

Serve: Drizzle the reserved caramel sauce over the top of each taco. Finish with a generous dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if using.

Enjoy: Serve immediately while warm for the best flavor and texture!
