Ingredients
  

For the Cake:

1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

1 ½ cups granulated sugar

¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 ½ tsp baking powder

1 ½ tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

2 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

½ cup vegetable oil

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup boiling water

For the Snickers Filling:

1 cup chopped Snickers bars (about 6 bars)

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup heavy cream

For the Chocolate Ganache Topping:

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup heavy cream

1 tbsp unsalted butter

Chopped Snickers bars and crushed peanuts for garnish

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

    Prepare the Cake Batter:

      - In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

        - Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes until well combined.

          - Carefully stir in the boiling water until the batter is smooth (it will be thin).

            Bake the Cake:

              - Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.

                - Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

                  - Allow to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

                    Make the Snickers Filling:

                      - In a medium bowl, beat the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

                        - In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the peanut butter mixture. Add the chopped Snickers bars and mix until distributed.

                          Assemble the Cake:

                            - Once the cake layers are completely cool, place one layer on a serving plate. Spread the Snickers filling over the top evenly.

                              - Place the second layer of cake on top and gently press down.

                                Prepare the Chocolate Ganache:

                                  - In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring the heavy cream to a simmer. Remove from the heat and add the chocolate chips and butter. Stir until smooth and glossy.

                                    Top the Cake:

                                      - Pour the chocolate ganache over the top of the cake, allowing it to drip over the edges.

                                        - Garnish with additional chopped Snickers bars and crushed peanuts for added texture and flavor.

                                          Chill and Serve:

                                            - Allow the ganache to set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
