Ingredients

4 slices of thick-cut smoked bacon

2 slices of hearty sourdough bread

2 slices of roasted turkey breast

2 slices of cheddar cheese

1 ripe avocado, sliced

1 large tomato, sliced

1/4 cup crispy lettuce (such as romaine or butter lettuce)

1 tablespoon ranch dressing

1 tablespoon barbecue sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Toothpicks for assembly

Instructions

In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Once cooked, transfer to a paper towel to drain excess grease.

While the bacon cools, toast the sourdough bread slices in the skillet until golden brown and crispy.

Spread a thin layer of ranch dressing on one side of each toasted bread slice.

On one slice of bread, layer the roasted turkey breast, followed by the cheddar cheese, avocado slices, crispy lettuce, tomato slices, and bacon. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Drizzle barbecue sauce over the layers and then top with the second slice of toasted bread, ranch dressing side down.

Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients to create a second club sandwich.

Secure each sandwich with toothpicks and cut them in half to reveal the layers. Serve immediately with pickles or potato chips on the side.
