Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients
  

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon paprika

2 cups fresh spinach

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Season the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

    Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Make the Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

        Add Cream and Cheese: Pour in the heavy cream, and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer before adding the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

          Incorporate Spinach: Add the fresh spinach to the sauce and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.

            Combine Chicken with Sauce: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it with the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. Drizzle with lemon juice for a fresh touch.

              Serve and Enjoy: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. This dish pairs beautifully with pasta, rice, or a side of steamed vegetables.
