Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ground paprika

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and Italian seasoning.

Brown the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Once hot, add the chicken thighs and sear for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Sauté on medium heat for about 1 minute or until the garlic is fragrant and lightly golden. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Deglaze the Pan: Pour in the chicken broth and scrape any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet using a wooden spoon. Bring to a simmer.

Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return the seared chicken thighs to the skillet. Drizzle the fresh lemon juice over the top and let everything simmer together for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Finish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve the Golden Garlic Butter Chicken with lemon wedges on the side for an added zing.
