1 tsp matcha powder

1 tsp chai spice blend (cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and cloves)

1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

1/2 cup water

1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt

Optional: whipped cream or froth for topping

Instructions
 

Prepare the Milk: In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium-low heat, being careful not to let it boil. You can also froth it if you prefer a creamy texture.

    Mix Matcha and Chai: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the matcha powder and chai spice blend with about 2 tablespoons of hot water to form a smooth paste. This will help avoid clumping.

      Combine: Add the remaining water (1/2 cup) to the matcha-chai mixture and whisk until fully combined.

        Sweeten: Stir in honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt to enhance the flavors.

          Combine Milk and Matcha-Chai Mixture: Pour the warm milk into the matcha-chai mixture and whisk until frothy and well incorporated. Adjust sweetness if necessary.
