Ingredients

1 cup brewed chai tea (hot or cold)

1/2 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee (cooled)

1/2 cup pumpkin puree (canned or fresh)

1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy, such as almond or oat)

2 tablespoons maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (plus extra for garnish)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Ice cubes

Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

Brew a cup of chai tea using your preferred method and allow it to cool (if desired).

In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined and smooth.

In a large glass, fill it halfway with ice cubes.

Pour the chai tea over the ice, followed by the cooled espresso or coffee.

Add the pumpkin mixture to the glass, stirring to combine the flavors.

Slowly pour the milk over the top, using a spoon to help it layer beautifully if desired.

Optionally, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice for garnish.

Mix the drink before sipping for a balanced taste of chai and pumpkin goodness.
