Ingredients

6 Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup white chocolate chips

1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies (for topping)

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups more white chocolate chips (for coating)

Sprinkles (for decoration, optional)

Instructions

Crush the Cakes: Start by taking the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and breaking them into small pieces. Place the pieces in a large mixing bowl.

Mix with Cream Cheese: Add the softened cream cheese and vanilla extract to the bowl. Using a hand mixer, blend everything together until smooth and well combined. The mixture should be thick and moldable.

Chill the Mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for about 1 hour, or until it hardens a bit for easier handling.

Form the Truffles: Once chilled, use a small cookie scoop or your hands to form small balls (about 1 inch) from the mixture. Place the balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 2 cups of white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth and completely melted.

Coat the Truffles: Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate using a fork, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off. Place the coated truffles back onto the lined baking sheet.

Add Toppings: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the tops with crushed peppermint candies and/or festive sprinkles for a holiday touch.

Chill Again: Place the truffles in the refrigerator for an additional 30 minutes to set the chocolate.

Serve and Enjoy: Once the chocolate has hardened, serve the truffles on a festive platter or package them as gifts. Enjoy your holiday treat!
