Ingredients

4 tbsp all-purpose flour

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1/8 tsp baking powder

Pinch of salt

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

2 tbsp milk (or milk alternative)

1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

2 tbsp chocolate chips (or more for topping)

Instructions

In a microwave-safe mug, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt, and mix well.

Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until a smooth dough forms.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they're evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Microwave the mug on high for 30-40 seconds, or until the cake has risen and is set but still moist. Keep an eye on it to prevent overflow!

Let it cool for a minute before digging in. You can top it with an extra sprinkle of chocolate chips or a scoop of ice cream if desired.
